Three years ago, Management of the Abbott Laboratories plant in Queenborough, Kent, England recognized the need to greatly improve their performance and embarked on a long and difficult project to raise their performance to Class A levels. In September of 2002 after three continuous months of Class A performance, JGI awarded them their Class A certification. Long before their final certification, they began to reap the benefits of the improvements they had made in many aspects of their business. Their project had many ups and downs during its course, as they would admit, but, through their strong dedication and commitment, Queenborough's people prevailed.
